\�; <br /> - Working to Restore Nature <br /> 4 <br /> 1710 Main Street e <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 April 16, 1992 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 ENV1 1O-" , Si\1 l AL H J',LTH <br /> FAX (209)838-3509 /KR1 { ES <br /> Ms Diane Hinson <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> P 0 Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> RE: First Quarter 1992 Groundwater Monitoring Report, Chase Chevrolet, 423 North <br /> Madison Street, Stockton, CA <br /> Dear Ms Hinson <br /> This letter report details RESNA Industries' (RESNA) groundwater monitoring activities during <br /> the first quarter of 1992 at the above referenced site (Figure 1) Activities during the quarter <br /> included monitorng of groundwater, sampling for dissolved hydrocarbons from the seven <br /> monitoring wells on-site, and evaluating the petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in the <br /> groundwater at the site <br /> Groundwater Sampling <br /> RESNA personnel performed quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling on February 27, <br /> 1992 Field work consisted of measuring the depth-to-water (DTW) and subjectively analyzing <br /> the water from wells MW-1 through MW-7 for the presence of sheen and floating product The <br /> water table elevation has decreased approximately 0 81 to 1 27 feet since the previous sampling <br /> event The groundwater monitoring data is summarized in Table 1 <br /> The groundwater gradient beneath the western portion of the site (wells MW-3, MW-6, and <br /> MW-7) on February 27, 1992 was 0 003 ft/ft in a northerly direction, the gradient beneath the <br /> eastern portion of the site (wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-4, and MW-5) was 0 006 ft/ft in a <br /> northerly direction A groundwater gradient map is included as Figure 2 <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from MW-1, MW-2, and MW-4 through MW-7, after <br /> stabilization of pH, electrical conductivity (EC), and temperature Floating hydrocarbon product <br /> was noted in well MW-3 and measured to be approximately 1 89 feet in thickness The <br /> monitoring wells were purged and sampled according to RESNA's Quality Assurance/Quality <br /> Control Plan (Attachment 1) Well purge logs are included in Attachment 2 <br /> �i <br /> S <br /> QR032692 SAY <br />
