el ��ZMA r� Working To Restore Nature 1710 Main Street Escalon, CA 95320 Phone (209) 838-3507 FAX (209) 838-3509 June 7, 1994 R;tn'YZI, JUN 0g1994 Mr Steve Sasson ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH{ San Joaquin County Public Health Services PERMIT/SERVICES Environmental Health Division P O Box 2009 Stockton, CA 95201 Subject: Second Quarter 1994 Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling Report, Chase Chevrolet, 423 North Madison Street, Stockton, California Dear Mr Sasson This letter report details RESNA Industries' (RESNA's) groundwater monitoring and sampling activities during the second quarter of 1994 at the above referenced site (Figure 1) Activities during the quarter included monitoring of groundwater, sampling for dissolved hydrocarbons from six of the seven monitoring wells on-site, free product removal from well MW-3 and evaluating the petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in the groundwater at the site Groundwater Sampling RESNA personnel performed quarterly groundwater monitonng and sampling on May 4, 1994 Field work consisted of measuring the depth-to-water, subjectively analyzing the water from wells MW-1 through MW-7 for the presence of sheen and floating product, measuring the thickness of floating product, and purging and sampling six monitoring wells The water table elevation has nsen approximately 0 04 feet since the previous monitoring event in February 1994 The groundwater monitoring data are summarized in Table 1 The groundwater gradient beneath the western portion of the site (wells MW-3, MW-b, and MW-7) on May 4, 1994 was 0 0012 ft/ft in a northeasterly direction, the gradient beneath the eastern portion of the site (wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-4, and MW-5) was approximately 0 005 ft/ft in a northerly direction A groundwater gradient map is included as Figure 2 t500701QUARTLYI2QR-1994 FIVL
