I fl AZWIWVA . <br /> r;ell', <br /> Working To Restore Nature <br /> 1710 Main Street PN 46 <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 <br /> FAX (209) 838-3509 <br /> February 28, 1994 <br /> Mr Steve Sasson <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Subject First Quarter 1994 Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling Report, Chase <br /> Chevrolet, 423 North Madison Street, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Sasson <br /> This letter report details RESNA Industries' (RESNA's) groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> activities during the first quarter of 1994 at the above referenced site (Figure 1) Activities <br /> during the quarter included monitoring of groundwater, sampling for dissolved hydrocarbons <br /> from six of the seven monitoring wells on-site, free product removal and evaluating the <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in the groundwater at the site <br /> Groundwater Sam lin <br /> RESNA personnel performed quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling on February 8, <br /> 1994 Field work consisted of measuring the depth-to-water, subjectively analyzing the water <br /> from wells MW-1 through MW-7 for the presence of sheen and floating product, measuring the <br /> thickness of floating product, and purging and sampling six monitoring wells The water table <br /> elevation has risen approximately 0 76 feet since the previous monitoring event in February <br /> 1993 The groundwater monitoring data are summarized in Table 1 <br /> The groundwater gradient beneath the western portion of the site (wells MW-3, MW-6, and <br /> MW-7) on February 8, 1994 was 0 0014 ft/ft in a northeasterly direction, the gradient beneath <br /> the eastern portion of the site (wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-4, and MW-5) was approximately <br /> 0 0054 ft/ft in a northerly direction A groundwater gradient map is included as Figure 2 <br /> *A 1500701QIJARTLYIIQR-1994 FNL <br />
