INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with a request from Chase Chevrolet,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has <br /> prepared this Work Plan Addendum for the site located at 423 North Madison Street in Stockton, <br /> California (the site) The scope of work includes the installation of two 1n-situ air sparging (IAS) <br /> wells and performance of an IAS pilot test The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 -Location <br /> Map A plan of the site is depicted in Figure 2 - Site Plan <br /> f <br /> This scope of work is proposed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Department - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) saes <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> Between 1986 and 1991, seven USTs were removed from the site Eight ground water morutonng <br /> well and numerous soil bonngs/probings have been installed and sampled at the site Results of the <br /> subsurface investigation indicated that hydrocarbon-impacted soil is limited to the immediate vicinity <br /> of the UST areas However, ground water at the site is impacted <br /> PHS-EHD and CVRWQCB guidelines require the performance of feasibility studies to determine <br /> remedial options for the site Since hydrocarbon-impacted soil is limited at the site, only ground <br /> water feasibility studies will be conducted at the site <br /> 3.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> 3 1 PROBING AND SAMPLING <br /> The proposed scope of work includes the advancement of two IAS wells One IAS well will be <br /> installed near the former UST excavation on the northern portion of the property, a second IAS well <br /> will be installed immediately south of MW-4 Proposal IAS well locations are illustrated on Figure <br /> 2 <br /> Each probing will be advanced utilizing a van-mounted Geoprobe probing urut and 2-inch diameter <br /> probing rods IAS wells will be completed using 4 75-inch slotted PVC screen Well design is <br /> � illustrated in Figure 3 <br />
