Parmar Texaco — - 3 - "' April 2012 <br /> Remediation Summary <br /> • Free Product: Free product has historically been noted in MW-1 (up to 0.52 feet), MW 2 <br /> (up to 0.62 feet) and MW-3 (up to 0.68 feet). None noted since 2003. <br /> • Soil Excavation: Between 100 and 150 cubic yards of impacted soil were removed and <br /> disposed offsite in 1988, estimated to include 760 pounds of TPHg <br /> • In-Situ Soil Remediation: Soil vapor extraction pilot test, conducted from June 2010 <br /> through August 2010 removed approximately 2,700 pounds of TPHg. <br /> • Groundwater Remediation: Air sparging is proposed. <br /> General Site Conditions <br /> • Geology and Hydrogeology: The Site is underlain by interbedded and intermixed sand, <br /> silt and clay. The depth to groundwater is approximately 49 feet bgs and the <br /> groundwater gradient is southwest at approximately 0.001 ft/ft. <br /> • Estimate of Hydrocarbon Mass in Soil: Prior to remediation, Stephen Muir, consulting <br /> geologist estimated that approximately 15,026 pounds of TPHg remain in the subsurface <br /> • Groundwater Trends: There are more than 23 years of groundwater monitoring data for <br /> this Site.
