Box 2009 <br /> Stockton , CA 95201-2009 <br /> FROM: Cris Hamilton <br /> 1371 Delone Drive <br /> Yuba City , CA 95991 <br /> SUBJECT : Status Report - San Joaquin County site #1324 , 521 N . <br /> Cherokee Lane , Lodi , CA 95240 . <br /> Report : Prepared on behalf of Carl and Muriel Yearing . <br /> Background : Six USTs were removed on 5 February 1988 . <br /> - The IOK gal . UST had noticeable gasoline odor <br /> in the soil and the analytical indicated 4700 <br /> PPM TPH and 1300 PPM total BTEX . <br /> - Over excavation was attempted but abandoned <br /> when determined the contamination was wide <br /> spread ( 1300 PPM TPH at 18 ft . bgs . ) <br /> - On 18 and 19 August 1988 , three soil borings <br /> were done (deepest to 40 ft . bgs . ) and one <br /> monitoring well ( 60 ft . deep - GW encountered <br /> at 40 ft . ) . <br /> - Soil samples were taken from all borings and <br /> OVA readings were taken . No soil samples were <br /> analyzed because the OVA indicated contamination <br /> at depth which served the potential purchasers <br /> (client ) purpose . <br /> - No GW sample was taken because approximately <br /> 0. 5 inch product was on GW. <br /> - On 17 May 1991 , two monitoring wells were in- <br /> stalled to a depth of 60 ft . <br /> - Soil samples were taken and analyzed , showing <br /> contamination to depth. <br /> - No water samples were taken because 6-7 inches <br /> Of product was found on the Gid. Approximately <br /> 2 , 000 gallons of product was later extracted <br /> off the GW. <br /> - No further remediation processes until now. <br /> Current : Commence active site remediation process and get into <br /> compliance with the Local oversight agency and the <br /> State UST Cleanup Fund . <br /> Prepare a site status report (non-technical) . <br />
