The entire length of the product hose Is electrostatically grounded. This grounds the entire system to the ground water and reduces the chances of sparking and fires. Lastly, the fittings are brass and the controls are housed in an aluminum enclosure which will not spark if dropped or struck and which conducts away static electricity. Personnel Protection Protection from pressurized discharges of air and product is assured through the use of two-way and one-way quick connects. The product fittings are hydraulic quality with two-way shut off protection. The "OFF" timer, times first so the pneumatic pump does not start immediately upon connection of the system. The components of the system are extremely lightweight, so back injuries and striking injuries are minimized. The filter bowls are metal and will not craze if gasoline is spilled on them. The pressure rating on the filters is 250 psi, compared to 150 psi on plastic bowls. Spill Protection The product hose is steel-reinforced and has an 18,000 psi burst strength. It has been dug up by a backhoe, and run over continuously by tractor trailers without damage or leakage The product hose fittings are rated to 15,000 psi and have two-way shut off, so neither hose leaks when the hoses are disconnected. The Tank Full Shut Off system uses a redundant, two-way sensor which shuts down the system if the tank is full or the system is vandalized or disconnected. P.O.
