' Groundwater samples were collected using a disposable teflon bailer and placed into 40 ml VOA bottles <br /> . and labeled in accordance with procedures outlined In the attached Appendix 1 These samples represented <br />' purged groundwater samples where at least 3 casing volumes of water had been removed from each well <br /> The water samples were handled and transported under accepted chain of custody procedures outlined in <br /> the PHSEHD-approved workplan to Kiff Analytical Laboratories, Davis, Caltfornta After sampling <br /> activates were concluded each of the wells were then secured <br /> All sampling equipment was decontaminated by Alqumox and f©llowup distilled water rinse Rinse water <br />' from decontamination of sampling equipment was placed in a 55 gallon drums and labeled as nonhazardous <br /> waste <br /> 2_2 Laboratory Agghjical Methods <br />' The water samples were analyzed by Kiff Analytical LLC, Davis, California, a California State certified <br /> analytical laboratory# 2236, using U S Environmental Protection Agency(USEPA)Test Method 8260B <br />' for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene, and total petroleum hydrocarbon as gasoline Additional scans <br /> for oxygenates and lead scavengers were completed with the 8260B analysts as follows <br /> Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether(MTBE) <br /> I <br /> Di-isopropyl Ether(DIPE) <br /> Ethyl Tertiary Butyl Ether(ETBE) <br />' Tertiary Amyl Methyl Ether(TAME) <br /> Tertiary Butanol(TBA) <br /> 1,2- Dichloroethane(1,2-DCA) <br /> 1,2- Dibromoethane(1,2-EDB) <br /> I <br /> Copies of the analytical laboratory reports and chain of custody documentation are attached to this report <br /> as Appendix 3 as Kiff Analytical Report#41460 and the analytical results tabulated in the attached <br /> Tables 3 and 4 <br /> • <br /> 1 <br /> I <br /> MainOTnvironnaentalTannmrTexaco\Reporrslt23104QMRwpd 3 <br />
