' Data Provided with this Re ort <br /> Regional Site Location Map(Figure 1) <br />' Topographic Map of Site(Figure 2) <br /> Site Activity Map(Figure 3) <br /> Map Depicting Groundwater Flow Direction(Figure 4) <br />' Hydrograph of Monitoring Well PT-MW 1 with Benzene and 1,2-DCA Concentrations(Figure 5) <br /> Monitoring Well Sounding Data(Table 1) <br /> Summary of Monitoring Well Soundmg Data (Table 2) <br />' Summary of Water Sample Analytical Results(Table 3) <br /> Summary of Individual Monitoring Well Water Sample Results (Table 4) <br />' Appendix I- Groundwater Monitoring Procedures <br /> Appendix 2- Groundwater Monitoring Well Data Logs <br />' 2.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING <br />' 221 Groundwater Monitonng <br /> Groundwater monitoring wells for the 521 North Cherokee Lane (former Parmar Texaco site)were <br /> monitored on September 30, 2004 The locations of the monitoring well are depicted on both Figures 3 <br /> I and 4 All well monitoring and sampling was conducted in accordance with the monitoring procedures <br /> outlined in the attached Appendix 1 and by verbal directives issued by PHSEHD The wells were initially <br /> inspected for integrity and general maintenance condition with the findings reported on the Monitoring Well <br /> Data Sheets presented in Appendix 2 The wells were then probed for depth to the groundwater surface <br /> and depth to bottom of each well <br /> Initially,the depth to water surface was measured by an electronic water level indicator that allowed <br /> measurement of depth to approximately 0 01 foot These water surface depths for each well were then <br /> recorded on the individual monitoring well data sheets contained in Appendix 2 After depth to water was <br /> determined, a clear, acrylic bailer was used to inspect visually an undisturbed sample from the top of the <br /> water column to determine if a product layer or sheen was present A pronounced sheen and product layer <br /> was visible on the tape and the bailers used to sample monitoring wells MW I, 2, and 3 These wells had a <br /> slight free-product layer of approximately 0 005 foot thickness All other wells had no reported petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon odor or sheen on the water surface <br /> The water level indicator was then used with a weight to measure the total depth of each monitoring well <br /> in order to determine the volume of water in each well casing volume These measurements and the <br /> calculated well casing volume for each well were recorded to Appendix 2 <br /> Each of the wells was then purged with a low-purge rate submersible electric water pump or hand bailed <br /> using a disposable batter Groundwater electrical conductivity, pH and temperature were all recorded as <br /> each casing volume of water was removed from the wellbore Data was recorded on the Monitoring Well <br /> Data Sheets Groundwater monitoring results are tabulated in Tables 1 and 2 Once the groundwater <br /> parameters were stabilized a water sample was collected <br /> I <br /> MamlDlEnvimnmenfa[NPanrLarTexacx,IRgmrts1093004QMR wpd 2 <br />
