Site Closure Report 8
Former Claude C.Wood Construction Yard,681 East Lockeford Street Lodi CA November 16 1999
4.0 REQUEST FOR CLOSURE
SECOR on behalf of Al Johnson Construction Company, the current owner to the Site, requests
the RWQCB issue a letter of closure for the release of diesel from the former above ground
storage tank farm at the Site. The surface diesel stained soil discovered by ASTA construction in
April 1994 was excavated under the direction of the SJCEHD to acceptable limits. Analyses of
soil samples collected from the excavation confirm that the source of the diesel contamination
have been defined and removed (Figure 4 and Table 1). As part of the soil excavation project,
ASTA also removed and disposed of one 500 gallon waste oil tank that underlay the former the
above ground tank farm.
AJ-ClosureRpt.RPT.wpd
