• %Nor .
Karen Petryna
Equiva Services,LLC
Page 5
Action item: Sam Savig to send letter to Shell.
' a
1071 N Main Street
The last report submitted recommends no further site assessment but continued quarterly
groundwater monitoring. Sam Savig and Dot Lofstrom gave preliminary agreement to this
conclusion, with the statement that they will need to verify that the horizontal and vertical extent
of contamination has been defined.
Action item: Sam Savig to provide verbal agreement with recommendations. If there are
additional concerns,a letter stating the concerns will be provided to Equiva.
341 Main Street
The extent of contamination may not be completely delineated at this site. However, the
concentration of MtBE has been substantially reduced in the monitoring wells at the site. Ms.
Petryna said that Equiva would like to shut the groundwater extraction system down for two
quarters, and then monitor for two additional quarters to see if there is a rebound. The County
agrees with this approach and that the system will be shutdown immediately following the next
quarterly monitoring event. Also,an earlier SVE study indicates that SVE is not a valid remedial
action for this site. That report is missing from the County's files.
Action item: Cambria to submit SVE report.
If you have any corrections, comments, or questions regarding this meeting summary, please call
Dot Lofstrom at(209)468-3436
Donna Heran, REHS,Director
Environmental Health Division
Dot Lofstrom,RG
Site Mitigation Unit/LOP
cc: CVRWQCB—Marty Hartzell
Cambria—Joe Neely
