(Aegis), performed limited subsurface investigations at the
subject Lodi and Stockton, California, service stations in 1989 and 1990, respectively.
Following the respective investigations, the results were reported by Aegis to the San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD) and the Central Valley Regional
Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB).
Based on the results of drilling and sampling, Aegis did not recommend any additional
subsurface investigations be performed. Attached are tables
from the respective reports of the investigations summarizing the results of soil sample
analyses.
Aegis, on behalf of Shell Oil Company, requests the SJCEHD provide written confirmation
that no further action is required at either of the two sites.
