CAM B R I A ' - February 23, 2006 <br /> Mr Jeffrey Wong n E C F R WED <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department w <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue,Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 FEB 2 4 2000 <br /> ENVIRONIAENT HEALTH <br /> Re Subsurface Investigation Report, Fourth QuaKWIN"Vldr-sundwater <br /> Monitoring Report, and Site Conceptual Model <br /> Former Shell Service Station/Econo Gas <br /> 880 Victor Road <br /> Lodi, California <br /> Incident No 98995526 <br /> SJCEHD Site Code 1746 <br /> Cambria Project No 248-0955-006 <br /> Dear Mr Wong <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equilon <br /> Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) to document the recent investigation activities <br /> at the referenced site The purpose of the investigation was to assess the lateral and vertical <br /> extent of fuel oxygenates in groundwater and to assess the presence of methyl tertiary butyl ether <br /> •, (MTBE) in soil beneath the site Cambria followed the scopes of work presented in our <br /> August 26, 2005 Subsurface Work Plan and November 15, 2005 Subsurface Investigation Work <br /> Plan Addendum, which were approved in San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (SJCEHD) letters dated September 13, 2005 and November 15, 2005, respectively SJCEHD's <br /> July 20, 2005 correspondence initiated the investigation, and Cambria performed the work in <br /> accordance with SJCEHD and Central Valley Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> guidelines <br /> SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> 1 <br /> The site is currently an operating Econo Gas station located on the southeast corner of the Victor <br /> Road and Beckman Road intersection in Lodi, California (Figure 1) Shell ceased operations at <br /> the site during December 1998 and sold the station and property to the current owner during <br /> March 2001 The former Shell station layout included a service station building, two dispenser <br /> Cambria islands, a gasoline underground storage tank (UST) complex, and a former waste oil UST <br /> Environmental (Figure 2) The current Econo Gas station layout is similar to the former Shell station, but also <br /> Technology, Inc <br /> includes a diesel UST installed by the current station owner during March 2002 (Figure 2) <br /> 0 Hollis Street <br /> Suite A <br /> Emeryville CA 94608 <br /> Tel(510)420-0700 <br /> Fax(510)420-9170 <br />
