CAMBRIARECEI E-0 <br /> SEP 2 <br /> 0 2004 <br /> ENVIRONMEfRptcMhgq 16, 2004 <br /> 7� PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Mr Jeffrey Wong <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Interim Remediation Report/Work Plan/Response Letter <br /> Former Shell Service Station/Econo Gas <br /> 880 Victor Road <br /> Lodz, California <br /> SAP Code 135446 <br /> Incident No 98995526 <br /> SJCEHD Site Code 1746 <br /> Dear Mr Wong <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equilon <br /> Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) to document the interim remedial activities at <br /> the referenced site and to address the concerns raised San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department's (SJCEHD's) August 17, 2004 letter Cambria followed the scope of work <br />• presented in our December 13, 2002 Aquifer Puinp Test Report and discussed with SJCEHD and <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) staff during a July 28, 2003 <br /> meeting This work was completed in accordance with SJCEHD and RWQCB guidelines <br /> SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is currently an operating Econo Gas station located on the southeast corner of the <br /> intersection of Victor Road and Beckman Road in Lodi, California (Figure 1) Shell ceased <br /> operations at the site during December 1998 and sold the station and property to the current <br /> owner during March 2001 The former Shell station layout included a service station building, <br /> two dispenser islands, a gasoline underground storage tank (UST) complex, and a former waste <br /> oil UST (Figure 2) The current Econo Gas station layout is similar to the former Shell station <br /> but also includes a diesel UST, installed by the current station owner in March 2002 (Figure 2) <br /> PREVIOUS WORK <br /> Cambria 1994 UST Removal During December 1994, four single-walled steel USTs (two 10,000-gallon <br /> ¢nv,Tonmental and two 6,000-gallon) and associated product piping were removed Petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> Technology, Inc <br /> were detected in soil samples collected from beneath the former dispenser islands and product <br /> 0 Hollis Street piping and in the southeastern half of the UST excavation Fugro West, Inc (Fugro) of <br /> Suite A <br /> Emeryville CA 94608 <br /> Tel(510)420-0700 <br /> Fax(510)420-9170 <br />
