A B R I A Ms Karen Petryna <br /> • June 15, 1999 <br /> and is square in shape The site is identified by assessor's parcel number 049-050-32 The City <br /> of Lodi has zoned the subject property as Heavy Industrial (M2) Properties surrounding the <br /> subject property along East Victor Road and South Beckman Ave are also zoned as Heavy <br /> Industrial <br /> SITE RECONNAISSANCE <br /> A reconnaissance of the subject property and a cursory visual inspection of adjacent properties <br /> wa " were performed on May 13, 1999 The subject property is bordered by South Beckman Road to <br /> the west and North Cluff Avenue to the east The subject property is currently a vacant Shell- <br /> branded service station that is surrounded by a cyclone fence At the subject property, Cambria <br /> observed a vacant food mart and service center building and empty concrete pump islands at the <br /> time of the site reconnaissance There did not appear to be any USTs, product piping, or <br /> dispensers left in place No signs of staining or potential sources of contamination, such as <br /> drums, were observed during the site visit <br /> A reconnaissance of the surrounding commercial and industrial properties revealed that a <br /> Woolsey service station is located just east of the subject property at 930 East Victor Road This <br /> station appeared clean at the time of the site visit with no drums or stains on the premises <br /> Directly to the southeast of the subject property was Terest Trucking that occupies a large lot Its <br /> address is 900-'/z East Victor Road but the business is also accessible from the first street to the <br /> south,East Pine Street Although entry was prohibited, Cambria observed the Teresi site through <br /> the fence, and it appeared to be clean and well-maintained There were a number of Cal-Trans <br /> vehicles on the asphalt parking lot because Cal-Trans uses this area for parking In fact, <br /> Cal-Trans has an address of 845 East Pine Street On the corner of South Beckman Road and <br /> East Pine Street, at 110 South Beckman Road, is what appears to be a waste yard for old metal <br /> parts Although a sign was not observed at the time of the site visit, this property could be the <br /> AG Industrial Manufacturing that is listed on the EDR report Across from the subject property, <br /> to the north, is a large white building belonging to George Reed, Inc , a general engineering <br /> contractor <br /> Photographs of the subject property and surrounding properties are included in Appendix A <br /> SANBORN MAPS <br /> Sanborn fire insurance maps were not available for the subject property and surrounding areas <br /> 3 <br />
