�r <br /> lF <br /> CWCAMBRIA <br /> SES' -7 PM ! 33 <br /> September 1, 1999 <br /> Mr Jeffrey Wong <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Site Investigation Work Plan <br /> Former Shell Service Station <br /> 880 Victor Road <br /> Lodi, California <br /> SAP Code 135446 <br /> Incident # 98995526 <br /> SJCPHS/EHD Site Code 1746 <br /> Dear Mr Wong <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this work plan on behalf of <br /> Equiva Services LLC in response to the June 21, 1999 San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services Environmental Health Division (SJCPHS/EHD) letter requesting additional soil and <br /> groundwater investigation at the above referenced site The purpose of this investigation is <br /> to identify the product release source area and to delineate the vertical extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons and methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) in soil and groundwater in the source <br /> area The scope of work presented in this work plan will comply with SJCPHS/EHD and <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) guidelines <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description The site is currently a non-operating gasoline station located on the <br /> southeast corner of the intersection of Beckman Road and Victor Road in Lodi, California <br /> (Plate 1) The site layout includes a service station building, two dispenser islands, a fuel <br /> underground storage tank (UST) complex, and a waste oil tank (Plate 2) <br /> Oakland CA <br /> Previous Investigations During December 1994, four single-walled steel USTs (two 10,000- <br /> Sonoma CA gallon and two 6,000-gallon) and associated product piping were removed Petroleum <br /> Portland OR hydrocarbons were detected in soil samples collected from beneath the former dispenser <br /> Seattle WA islands and product piping and in the southeastern half of the UST excavation Fugro West, <br /> Cambria Inc (Fugro) of Roseville, California performed over-excavation beneath the dispenser area <br /> Environmental and UST complex and collected additional soil samples One soil sample collected from the <br /> Technology,Inc bottom of the UST excavation contained 1,000 parts per million (ppm) total petroleum <br /> 0erkms Street hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), and one soil sample collected from the northern sidewall of <br /> P 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4650 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
