i <br /> CAMBRIA <br /> April 19, 1999 <br /> Mr Jeffrey Wong <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Over-excavation Work Plan <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 880 Victor Roadi{- <br /> Lodi, California n!= <br /> SAP Code 135446 <br /> Incident#98995526 <br /> Dear Mr Wong <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this work plan on behalf of Equiva <br /> Services LLC to describe potential over-excavation activities associated with the site demolition <br /> at the site referenced above The scope of work presented in this work plan complies with San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) and Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (RWQCB) guidelines <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description The site is currently a non-operating gasoline station located on the southeast <br /> corner of Beckman and Victor Roads in Lodi, California The site layout consists of a service <br /> station building, two dispenser islands, a UST complex, a waste oil tank, and two hydraulic <br /> hoists <br /> Previous Investigations In December 1994, four single-walled steel USTs (two 10,000-gallon <br /> and two 6,000-gallon) and associated product piping were removed Soil samples collected from <br /> Oakland CA beneath the former dispenser islands and product piping did not contain detectable <br /> Sonoma CA concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons Petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in soil <br /> Portland OR samples collected from the former UST excavation Over-excavation was performed and <br /> Seattle WA additional soil samples were collected Soil sample TP-1, collected at 21 feet below grade (fbg), <br /> Cambria contained 1,000 parts per million (ppm) total purgeable petroleum hydrocarbons (TPPH) and soil <br /> Environmental sample EN-2NSW, collected at 17 fbg, contained 0 024 ppm xylenes Complete results of the <br /> Technology, Inc UST removal are documented in the Fugro West, Inc , April 19, 1995 Underground Storage Tank <br /> is44 651h Street Closure Report <br /> Suite B <br /> Oakland CA 94608 <br /> Tel (510) 420-0700 <br /> Fax (510) 420-9170 <br />
