�� 03 <br /> C A M B R I A 0 <br /> December 3, 2003 <br /> Mr Jeffrey Wong <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Site Investigation/Third Quarter 2003 Groundwater Monitoring Report and <br /> Site Conceptual Model <br /> Former Shell Service Station/Econo Gas <br /> 880 Victor Road <br /> Lodi, California <br /> SAP Code 135446 <br /> Incident No 98995526 <br /> SJCEHD Site Code 1746 <br /> Dear Mr Wong <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equilon <br /> Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) to document the recent site investigation <br /> activities at the above referenced site The purpose of the investigation was to further assess the <br /> lateral and vertical extent of fuel oxygenates in groundwater beneath the site Cambria followed <br /> a portion of the scope of work presented in our June 5, 2002 Site Investigation Work Plan and <br /> December 13, 2002 Response Letter/Site Investigation and Third Quarter 2002 Groundwater <br /> Monitoring Report/Work Plan approved in San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (SJCEHD) letters dated June 25, 2002 and February 13, 2003 This investigation <br /> was performed pursuant to SJCEHD's March 22, 2002 letter to Shell requesting additional <br /> assessment, and the work was completed in accordance with SJCEHD and Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB)guidelines <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND <br /> Site Location and Description <br /> Oakland, CA The site is currently an operating Econo Gas station located on the southeast corner of the <br /> San Ramon CA intersection of Victor Road and Beckman Road in Lodi, California (Figure 1) Shell ceased <br /> Sonoma, CA operations at the site during December 1998 and sold the station and property to the current <br /> [ambna owner during March 2001 The former Shell station layout included a service station building, <br /> Environmental two dispenser islands, a gasoline underground storage tank (UST) complex, and a former waste <br /> Technology,Inc oil UST (Figure 2) The current Econo Gas station layout is similar to the former Shell station <br /> OeI <br /> Tkins Street but also includes a diesel UST, installed by the current station owner in March 2002 (Figure 2) <br /> P 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
