SITE CONCEPTUAL MODEL <br /> Former Shell Service Station/Econo Gas Station <br /> 880 Victor Road, Lodi, California <br /> 4 4 Well Survey Results A well survey conducted by Cambria in 1999 identified one <br /> domestic well located slightly less than 1/2 mile southwest of <br /> the site The well was installed in 1988 and is screened from <br /> 150 to 310 fbg and sealed from the surface to 50 fbg No <br /> other wells were identified within a half-mile radius of the site <br /> 4 5 Likelihood of Impact to Wells Impact due to site activities is unlikely due to the distance of <br /> the domestic well from the subfect site <br /> 4 6 Likelihood of Impact to Surface No surface water bodies were identified within a half-mile <br /> Water radius of the site The Mokelumne River and industrial waste <br /> ponds are located fust over 112 mile north of the site Impact <br /> of surface waters due to site activities is unlikely due to <br /> groundwater depth and distance from the subject site to <br /> surface water <br /> 51 Site Conceptual Exposure The site is currently an active fuel station The area <br /> Model (current and future uses) surrounding the site is commercial/industrial Future use of <br /> the parcel is assumed to be similar to current use <br /> 5 2 Exposure Pathways Potential exposure pathways include onsite commercial <br /> occupant inhalation of vapors from impacted soil, dermal <br /> exposure, particle inhalation, and ingestion of impacted soil <br /> by onsite construction workers, and ingestion of impacted <br /> groundwater offsite <br /> 5 3 Risk Assessment Status No formal nsk assessment has been performed for the site <br /> 5 4 Identified Human Exceedances NA <br /> 5 5 Identified Ecological NA <br /> Exceedances <br /> 61 Offsite Investigation Cambria has proposed two offsite wells (MW-12 and MW-13) <br /> located on the Teresi Trucking property east of the subject <br /> site Teresi Trucking has denied Shell access to their <br /> property, and the CVRWQCB has agreed to provide <br /> assistance in this matter <br /> 6 2 Groundwater Extraction Complete several GWE events to perform interim remediation <br /> and evaluate effectiveness of GWE to remediate groundwater <br /> beneath the site Cambria will complete 3 GWE events in <br /> 2003 and submit a report during the first quarter of 2004 <br /> 6 3 Continued Groundwater To observe concentration trends in shallow and deep wells, <br /> Monitoring and help evaluate effectiveness of ongoing interim <br /> remediation <br /> 0955 Page 3 of 4 Date Modified 17!5/2003 <br />
