I appreciate the revised report, and apologize for not
responding sooner. The first receipt of the revised report was yesterday when you emailed it to me. I noticed the due
date of 8/9/15. As you can imagine, we went to work on correcting the items in the original report immediately after your
inspection, but until receiving the revised report, I didn't feel comfortable responding until I knew what was transferred
over from the original. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Item#101- We have applied and obtained a new EPA ID number(CAL000408556)...see attached verification.
Item #102- The metal fines were immediately swept up and put in a temporary containment
receptacle, properly labeled. Both 55 gallon drums have now been labeled. The
"Bad Gas" container has a start of collection of 3/2/15. The other container is
empty and labeled as "Anti-Freeze", but nothing has needed to be stored as of
8/11/15. The bottle containing the EJ fuel stabilizer was removed from the trash bin along with
other hazardous debris including absorbent pads, metal fines and been placed is temporary
containment receptacles that are properly labeled.
Item #105- Employees were trained on 7/10/15 for Hazardous Waste (see attached sign-in
sheet). Additional training is scheduled.
Item #113- Please see attached manifests w/ revised information.
Item #117- Please see attached CERS acceptance letters for transformation of information in lieu of
creating a new account (per guidance of Jamie DeLarosa).
Item #301- Debris was removed and placed in appropriate containment receptacles. Procedures for
clean up of the oil stains and oily debris were based on the 4-Step Method we trained
on (see attached procedures).
Michelle Stitt
Owner
Marina Boats & Powersports
(209) 367-1111
1
