III. SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br />A. Prohibition of Disposal <br />Hazardous wastes shall not be permanently disposed of at <br />the facility. <br />B. Wastes Prohibited <br />Hazardous wastes described below shall not be accepted at <br />the facility: <br />1. Extremely hazardous wastes as defined in Sections <br />66720 and 66723, Title 22, CCR, unless specifically <br />approved by the Department. <br />2. Forbidden and Class A explosives as defined in <br />Sections 173.51 and 173.53, Title 49, CFR. <br />3. Any hazardous waste not listed in the approved <br />Operation Plan or otherwise approved by the <br />Department. <br />4. Any hazardous waste which has a flashpoint below 100°F <br />or which has been intentionally mixed with hazardous <br />waste, other than minimal amounts of vehicle fuel. <br />5. Any hazardous waste which contains polychlorinated <br />biphenyls (PCBs) at a concentration of five parts per <br />million (ppm) or greater. <br />6. Any combustible solvents such as those used or <br />contaminated with hazardous waste. <br />7. Halogenated solvents such as trichloroethane, <br />perchloroethylene, methylene, dichloride, chloroform, <br />carbon tetrachloride, and freons. <br />8. Oxygenated solvents such as acetone, methyl ethyl <br />ketone, methanol, ethanol, butanol, and ethyl acetate. <br />9. Hydrocarbon solvents such as hexanes, Stoddard, <br />benzene, toluene, xylenes, and paint thinner. <br />10. Any material which is regulated by EPA pursuant to <br />Subtitle C of Public Law 94-580 as amended (the <br />Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) of 1976, <br />42 U.S.C. Sec. 6901 et seq.). <br />11. Any RCRA waste. <br />12. Ink. <br />13. Paint. <br />-10- <br />
