Food Express, Inc. — Lathrop, CA <br /> Periodic Testing of the Integrity of Aboveground Tanks <br /> 40 CFR 112.8(c)(6) <br /> The systems are inspected monthly for leaks, stains and spills of#2 Diesel,New Motor Oil <br /> and Used Oil systems as required by the SPCC Plan and CFR 40 112.7.Inspections are performed <br /> by trained staff of FXI, Inc. and done to Industry Standards found in the Steel Tank Institute's <br /> guidelines. Inspection of the systems is required on a monthly basis and an annual inspection is <br /> required. Testing of the tanks was performed by a Certified SP001 Inspector on May 17. 2019. <br /> The monthly inspections are recorded on page 33. <br /> Leakage from Internal Heatine Coils <br /> 40 CFR 112.8(c)(7) <br /> There are no internal heating coils within this system. The applicable requirements of 40 <br /> CPR 112.8(c)(7)do not apply to this facility or SPCC Plan. <br /> Engineer or Update Containere to Avoid Discharge 40 CFR 112.8(c)(8) <br /> FXI, Inc. uses a visual tank gauge system consisting of a tank gauge that indicates the <br /> tank's volume in feet and inches. When the driver arrives on site and prior to unloading any oil <br /> product, they will verify tank space and insure that the oil product to be delivered will St, The#2 <br /> Diesel fuel storage tank is equipped with a monitoring portsystem.If the driver is alerted of danger <br /> or overfill during delivery,the driver will cease all loading and secure the system. <br /> Observe Effluent Discharge 40 CFR 112.8(c)(9) <br /> FXI, Inc. does not employ a surface water effluent or water separation treatment system at <br /> this site.The requirements in 40 CRR 112.8(c)(9)are not applicable. <br /> Promptly Address Visible Discharge 40 CFR 112.8(c)(10) <br /> This is addressed within this Plan at 40 CFR 112 7(e). <br /> Mobile or Portable Oil Storage Containers 40 CFR 112.8(c)(1.1) <br /> FXI, Inc. has several mobile and/or portable oil storage containers within their oil product <br /> management system_ 55-Gallon drums are considered mobile containers. <br /> Facility Transfer Operations 40 CFR 112.8(d)(1).(2).(3).(4). & (5) <br /> These items are addressed in 40 CFR 112.7(a)(3)(iii). <br /> VGary Reeves, LC 29 <br />
