Advanced .
G e o Environmental, Inc .
1 16 October 2014
AGE Project No. 13-2675
1
Mr. Ernesto Renteria, Jr.
1 3312 West Creek Drive
Stockton, CA 95209
1 Subject: Additional Site Assessment Report
PIMENTEL PROPERTY
1650 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton, California
1 Dear Mr. Renteria:
1 At your request, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Additional
Site Assessment Report for the subject property located at 1650 South EI Dorado
Street, Stockton, California (site). The scope of work was completed in October 2014
1 and included advancement of three shallow soil borings for collection of soil-vapor
samples and one deep soil boring for collection of soil and groundwater samples. A plan
depicting site structures and boring locations is illustrated in Figure 1.
1
INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
1 Historical information available for the site address indicates that a dry cleaning facility
was formerly located in the eastern portions of the site from approximately 1911 until
1 approximately 1960. Furthermore, historical Sanborn Fire Insurance maps for the site
indicate the presence of potential in-ground fuel tanks located in the east-central portion
of the site; as well as a steaming room or steam generator in the central portion of the
1 site.
Based on the historical information reviewed, AGE performed a limited subsurface
1 investigation at the site. On 30 October 2013, AGE advanced three soil borings (B1
through 133) at the subject property. Soil borings B1 and B2 were advanced in the
1 location of the former dry cleaning facility and B3 was advanced in the location of the
former potential in-ground petroleum tanks; B1 through B3 were advanced to depths of
approximately 30 feet below surface grade (bsg) for soil sample collection and depths of
1 38 feet bsg for groundwater sample collection. Soil boring locations are illustrated in
Figure 1. The following is a summary of the findings from the October 2013
investigation.
1
1
837 Shaw Road• Stockton,CA 95215
1 Telephone(209)467-1006 • Fax(209)467-1118
