Advanced
GeoEnvironmental
Inc .
26 September 2014
AGE Project No. 13-2675
Mr. Johnny Yokum
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Subject: Phase II Site Assessment Work Plan Addendum
PIMENTEL PROPERTY
1650 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton, California
Dear Mr. Yokum:
At the request of Mr. Ernesto Renteria, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has
prepared this Phase 11 Site Assessment Work Plan Addendum for the site located at
1650 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton, California (site). The work plan provides
procedures for the collection of soil, groundwater, and soil-vapor samples at the subject
site. A site plan depicting the proposed boring locations is illustrated in Figure 1.
INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
Historical information available for the site address indicates that a dry cleaning facility
was formerly located in the eastern portions of the site from approximately 1911 until
approximately 1960. Furthermore, historical Sanborn Fire Insurance maps for the site
indicate the presence of potential in-ground fuel tanks located in the east-central portion
of the site; as well as a steaming room or steam generator in the central portion of the
site.
Based on the historical information reviewed, AGE performed a limited subsurface
investigation at the site. On 30 October 2013, AGE advanced three soil borings (131
through 133) at the subject property. Soil borings B1 and B2 were advanced in the
location of the former dry cleaning facility and B3 was advanced in the location of the
former potential in-ground petroleum tanks; B1 through B3 were advanced to depths of
approximately 30 feet below surface grade (bsg) for soil sample collection and depths of
38 feet bsg for groundwater sample collection. Soil boring locations are illustrated in
Figure 1. The following is a summary of the findings from the October 2013
investigation.
837 Shaw Road• Stockton,CA 95215
Telephone(209)467-1006• Fax(209)467-1118
