COMPLAINANT'S DAUGHTER WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF <br /> CONSUMING A YOGURT PARFAIT, WHEN SHE DISCOVERED A BEETLE IN THE BLUEBERRIES. COMPLAINANT <br /> RECEIVED A FULL REFUND. COMPLAINANT HAS PICTURES AND WOULD LIKE A PHONE CALL. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately. She stated that all parfaits come with strawberries, blueberries, ice <br /> cream and a packaged topping. Fruit is received frozen. Fruit is in very small packages and stored in the walk in freezer. Cup <br /> is remade in advance. Employee adds fruit to bottom of cups, topped with ice cream and stored in the freezer. When item is <br /> ordered, cup is given to customer. <br /> Observation: Fruit comes in ready to use from small packages. No evidence of bugs. <br /> The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br /> Safety Code.
