File MB29669 Vol. 1 Sec. 1 Page 1 Issued: 2005-09-08 <br />and Report <br />DESCRIPTION <br />PRODUCT COVERED: <br />Series 4S, 8S, 10S and 12S single sided studded bulkhead sump <br />penetration fittings, Series 4D, 8D, IDD and 12D double sided studded <br />bulkhead sump penetration fittings, Series 48, 8B, 10B and 12B bonded studded <br />bulkhead sump penetration fittings, Series 4F, 8F, IOP and 12F filled studded <br />bulkhead sump penetration fittings, Series 4M and 8M sump penetration <br />fittings, Model DEB III bulkhead bonder and Model DBF 11 bulkhead <br />filler/bonder. <br />GENERAL: <br />The penetration fittings allow for the penetration of piping for <br />flammable liquids and electrical conduit through the wall of the dispenser <br />sumps or pans, transition sumps and tank sumps. The sump penetration fittings <br />shall be used in combination with a bonder. Fittings are acceptable for use <br />with petroleum products and gasohols when installed on fiberglass reinforced <br />plastic sumps. Fittings are acceptable for use with petroleum products only <br />when installed on sumps fabricated of materials other than fiberglass <br />reinforced plastic. <br />INSTALLATION: <br />The penetration fittings are intended for underground installation in <br />accordance with Diversified Products Mfg. LLC's installation instructions <br />(ILL. 1). <br />MARKING: <br />The following markings shall be legibly and permanently applied to the <br />penetration fittings. <br />A. The Manufacturer's name <br />B. The statement: "Install in Accordance with Diversified Products <br />installation Instructions Using only DBB III or DBF II Bonders", or <br />equivalent. <br />C. The Listing Mark of Underwriters Laboratories Inc. <br />The bonder and filler containers shall be marked as follows: <br />A. "DBB III" or "DBF II', as appropriate. <br />B. "For Use with Diversified Products UL Listed Fittings. Use in <br />Accordance With Diversified Products Installation Instructions" <br />
