The sump lid has one
broken clamp and the lid does not sit flat on the sump top. Pea gravel probably needs to be removed to allow the
lid to sit flat and seal properly. A barrier may be needed to keep the pea gravel back from the lid. I recommend
that all of the sump lids be checked for these problems.
The current service request can be amended (SR0062815)with a new scope of work to install the new clamp and
remove the pea gravel. Alternatively, a new permit application can be sent to me.
Thank you,
Garrett Backus
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
600 E Main Street,Stockton CA 95202-3029
telephone: (209)468-2986
fax: (209)468-3433
email: bg ackus@a sjoehd._co_m
http://www.sieov.or ehd/Proerams/Others/unified.htm
10/18/2011
