*Q ��erglass <br />CO-FLEX"m DOUBLE WALL PIPING SPECIFICATION <br />SUMMARY <br />The Co -Flex Double Wall Piping System is to be installed for the purpose of product delivery and <br />provides secondary containment for the product piping, in accordance with the manufacturer's <br />installation instructions. The Co -Flex Double Wall Piping System shall contain environmentally <br />hazardous fluids that might leak from the product piping, provide fluid communication and shall <br />include corrosion resistant fittings and couplings for connections within containment sumps located at <br />the tanks and dispensing points. The Co -Flex Double Wall Piping System shall be <br />manufactured/ supplied by Western Fiberglass, Inc. <br />SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS <br />1.01 SYSTEM SUITABILITY <br />The Co -Flex Double Wall Piping System shall: <br />A. Provide secure, secondarily contained fuel transfer between storage and dispensing <br />devices. <br />B. Be installed within a Rockguard/ Conduit system. <br />C. Contain any release of environmental contaminates from the product delivery section, <br />primary pipe, contained within the Co -Flex System. <br />D. Provide fittings, test points and connections as required to facilitate direct connection <br />piping and monitoring of containment between product storage and dispensing points. <br />1.02 CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS <br />A. Be constructed with a smooth seamless inner wall that is a specialized chemical and <br />permeation resistant thermoplastic with the outer layer being a flexible thermoplastic tie. <br />B. The reinforcement is a synthetic Polyester fiber applied in braided plies. <br />C. The hose cover is a smooth, seamless sheath of fuel resistant material. <br />D. Be constructed of materials that are not harmful to the environment. <br />E. Be suitable for chemicals, food products, petroleum products and blends including <br />methanol, ethyl alcohol, MTBE, ETBE and additives. <br />F.
