On October 2, 1990, a composite from each soil pile (six) were collected and submitted to <br /> Pam Sequoia Analytical Laboratory Q ppendix II) A single composite of these six samples was , <br /> t� analyzed for toxicity by 96-hour static bioassay (Appendix 11) The resulting LC-50 was greater <br /> *� than 1,000 ppm which classifies the soil as non-hazardous <br /> Based on these analyses, the soils were self-certified as non-hazardous and transported to the BJJ <br /> V4 <br /> Company facility at 2431 East Manposa Road, Stockton, California. The site location is show:J <br /> FM on Figure 1. The soils have been stockpiled on b mil plastic pending approval of a remr.iiahon <br /> and disposal plan. The results of the excavation and sampling program were presented in a <br /> report dated November 15, 1990. A workpla,i for investigation of potential groundwater <br /> contamination was included in the November, 1990 report. <br /> The pit was subsequently backfilled with clean sandy soil which was compacted to 95% <br /> maximum compaction at optimum moisture A new asphalt road was constructed over the top <br /> of the former excavation. Apparently during the <br /> paving of the area, monitoring well MW 1 was <br /> covered with asphalt and is currently inaccessible.
