(ERM) has <br /> prepared this letter report for the San Joaquin County Envirom-nental <br /> Health Department(County) to document well destruction activities <br /> performed at the Former Heinz Facility (site). The site is located at <br /> 757 East 11th Street,near the intersection of 11th Street and MacArthur <br /> Drive, in Tracy, California (Figure 1). Destruction activities were <br /> performed as part of site closure activities associated with two former <br /> underground storage tank (UST)'locations at the site (Figure 2). The well <br /> locations are shown on Figures 3 and 4. The work was performed to <br /> -, complete the requirements to obtain a Case Closure Letter and no further <br /> action designation as outlined in the County's letter to Heinz dated 3 . <br /> May 2013. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> F <br /> This site is located within a commercial/industrial area on the eastern <br /> side of the City of Tracy. The Former Heinz Facility produced tomato <br /> food products from the time of construction in 1946 until <br /> decommissioning and sale in 1998. In 1998, the facility was purchased by <br /> the Cranbrook Group. The site is currently leased as a warehouse space. <br /> I, <br />
