The workplan for this investigation, <br /> which is scheduled to be conducted September 3, is described in the following <br /> sections. <br /> t Workplan for Phase II Subsurface--Investigation at the Heinz Tracy <br /> Plant <br /> Purpose and Site History <br /> ' The purpose of the Phase II subsurface Investigation is to investigate areas of <br /> potential environmental concern identified during the ERM Phase I <br /> " Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I ) performed in general conformance <br /> with ASTM Standard Practice E 1527-97. The Phase I and II assessments are <br /> self-directed, due diligence investigations associated with real estate <br /> transactions involving the subject property. <br /> The issues associated with this site as identified in the Phase I include two <br /> potential abandoned gasoline tanks, and.surface staining associated with <br /> solvent, diesel, lube oil, and waste oil storage areas north and south of the <br /> - Forklift-Shop (refer to site map sent with drilling permit application for <br /> locations). ERM-West has subcontracted Gregg Drilling of Martinez, CA to <br /> perform the drilling, and Quanterra Laboratory of-Sacramento, CA to analyze <br /> the samples. <br /> A member of the Environmental <br /> Resources Management Group <br />
