Y
' Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2005
Former STEFANO'S GAS STATION u
' 1419 East Charter Way, Stockton, California 1
' 1.0. INTRODUCTION '
At the request of Mrs Winfred Alexander, executor of Mary Gardella Trust, Advanced
' GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 1419
East Charter Way, Stockton, California (site) _
' The objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground
water and to characterize ground water elevation, flow direction and hydraulic gradient on-site
' Analytical results from the ground water laboratory tests are presented in this report
Note this report does not document the soil-vapor sampling event on 9,June 2005, recently
' following the discontinuation of the soil-vapor extraction(SVE)system that was in operation on-site
from November 2004 through May 2005 (See the AGE-prepared Interim Sod Vapor Extraction Pilot
Test Report, dated 27 September 2005 for details)
' The site and the surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 Onsite structures and monitoring well
locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information can be found in the AGE-prepared
Well Installation and Soil Vapor Extraction Pilot Test Report, dated 30 August 2004
Y
' 2.0. PROCEDURES
Field procedures were performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board(CVRWQCB)and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)guidelines
for investigating underground storage tank(UST)sites and sampling ground water monitoring wells
Field procedures for ground water sampling are described below
2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
On 12 May 2005,ground water monitoring and sampling was performed on monitoring'wells MW-1,
MW-2,MW-3,MW-6,and MW-7 MW-4 and MW-5,located on the Stockton Fairgrounds property
across East Charter Way, were not sampled this quarter due to lack of access permission y
' Prior to sampling, the depth to ground water was measured from the top of each well casing to the
nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter The ground water elevation in each well was
calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the surveyed casing elevation
' (Table 1) t
After water levels were measured, each monitoring well was purged of standing water utilizing a
' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
