Charter Way, Stockton, CA(Site Code'508175) <br /> F <br /> Dear Mr. Infurna: j <br /> Ground Zero Analysis, Inc/(Ground Zero) is submitting this Groundwater Monitoring Well <br /> Destruction Report documenting the.well destruction activitlps performed at 1501 West Charter <br /> Way in Stockton, California. The well destruction activities were conducted in accordance with <br /> Ground Zero's Groundwater Monitoring Well Destruction Workplan, dated April 20, 2010, which <br /> was approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD), in <br /> correspondence dated April 28, 2010 (a copy of which has been included in Attachment A), and <br /> Ground Zero's subsequent Workplan Addendum dated May 17,,,2010. All site wells were destroyed <br />+ as the final step to case closure. The location of the site is shown on Figure 1. { <br /> SITE ACTIVITIES <br /> At the request,of EHD all site monitoring wells were destroyed. Wells MW1, MW2, MW4 and <br /> MW5 were destroyed on May 13, 2010 by pressure grouting;, while well MW3, which was not <br /> destroyed on May 13th because the drilling rig did not fit unde''r the site canopy, was destroyed on <br /> June 14, 2010 by overdrilling. All site wells were properly destroyed per EHD well destruction <br /> standards. <br /> t <br /> Permitting <br /> i <br /> Before initiating fieldwork, a well destruction permit was obtained from EHD for the pressure <br /> grouting of all site wells.
