(Woolsey Oil,Inc.)Cardlock Facility
1501 W. Charter Way, Stockton, CA(Site Code 508175)
Dear Mr. Infurna:
I On April 20, 2010, Ground Zero submitted the Groundwater Monitoring Well Destruction
Workplan (Workplan), which San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD)
j approved with comments in a letter dated April 28, 2010 (EHD Letter). Four monitoring wells
were destroyed on May 13, 2010. The drill rig could not',operate under the canopy covering
MW3. Ground Zero requests modifying.the Workplan to use a small geoprobe-type drill; rig
f capable of drilling out the well with 8-inch diameter augers.
The boring will be grouted to near-surface using trimie pipe and the displaced water and drill
cuttings will be stored in DOT 55-gallon drums pending disposal. The top of the boring will be
finished with cement to match existing surface conditions. Ground Zero will adhere to the other
I
elements of the Workplan and to the comments and conditions in the EHD Letter..
A new well permit application and fee is attached. Please feel free to contact the undersigned at
(209) 838-9888 if you have any questions or comments regarding this submittal.
OVAL
C>co
Respectfully, yy !0
Gro ero Analysis, Inc.
