(Woolsey Oil, Inc.) Cardlock Facility <br /> 1501 W. Charter Way, Stockton, CA (Site Code 508175) <br /> Dear Mr. Infurna: <br /> Ground Zero Analysis, Inc. (Ground Zero) is submitting this workplan for the destruction of the <br /> five (5) groundwater monitoring wells remaining at the subject site. Ground Zero proposes to <br /> destroy groundwater monitoring wells MW1, MW2, MW3, MW4 and MW5 in preparation of <br /> EHD issuance of a"Case Closure Letter" ("No Further Action Letter"). <br /> The location of the site is shown on Figure 1. A site plan with monitoring well locations is <br /> attached as Figure 2. <br /> Pre-Field Work Activities and Permitting <br /> Prior to drilling activities, well destruction permits will be obtained from EHD. Underground <br /> utilities will be checked by clearly marking the proposed boring location in white paint and calling <br /> the location in for a clearance ticket by Underground Services Alert. EHD will be given notice at <br /> least 72 hours prior to conducting drilling activities. Copies of the well destruction permits issued <br /> by EHD will be included in the forthcoming well destruction report. <br /> Monitoring Well Destruction <br /> A Ground Zero Geologist, under the supervision of a California Professional Geologist, will <br /> oversee the destruction of the five groundwater monitoring wells associated with the subject site <br /> by a California C-57 Licensed driller.
