r GROUND ZERO ANALYSIS, INC. 1714 Main Street Escalon, California 95320-1927 Telephone (209)838-9888 Facsimile (209)838-9883 November 26, 2001 Mr MichaelInfurna San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division 304 E Weber Ave , Third Floor Stockton, CA 95202 Subject Fourth Quarter 2001 Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling Report Woolsey Oil, Inc Cardlock Facility 1501 W Charter Way, Stockton, CA(site code 508175) Dear Mr Infurna This letter report presents the results of the fourth quarter 2001 groundwater monitoring and sampling activities at the subject site(Figure 1) SITE ACTIVITIES Activities at the site included monitoring water level elevations and purging and sampling groundwater from all site wells Groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEC and gasoline oxygenate additives FIELDWORK On November 7, 2001, monitoring wells MWl through MW3 were monitored and sampled Groundwater elevations were calculated by measuring the depth to groundwater in each well and - subtracting from the respective wellhead elevation Groundwater at the site fell an average of 1 07 feet since last monitored on August 7, 2001 Groundwater flowed toward the east-northeast with a hydraulic gradient of approximately 0 002 ft/ft A potentiometric surface map generated using the November 7, 2001 monitoring data is depicted on Figure 2 Groundwater monitoring data are summarized in Table 1 Monitoring data sheets are included in Attachment A Prior to sampling, monitoring wells MW 1 through MW3 were purged of a minimum of three well casing volumes During the purging process the physical parameters of temperature, pH and electrical conductivity were measured WoDhcy chtlgmr14gm2001 doc
