Charter Way, Stockton, CA <br /> E Underground Storage Tank Closure Report <br /> E <br /> I <br /> Dear Mr. Sasson: <br /> E <br /> We are`.writing to provide you with documentation of the removal and permanent closure of <br /> three underground storage tanks (USTs) at the subject facility. The location of the facility is <br /> shown on Figure 1. <br /> l UST Decommission <br /> On December 18, 1998 under permit from San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHD/EHD) three USTs were emptied of all product and triple <br /> rinsed. The 525 gallons of rinsate was transported under manifest by Asbury Environmental <br /> Services to Ramos Environmental in Sacramento for recycling. A copy of the manifest is <br /> included with this letter as Attachment A. <br /> UST Removal <br /> On January 19, 1999, Johnson Petroleum Service exposed the USTs and inerted them with dry <br /> ice. Once the inerting was complete the USTs were removed and transported to Triangle Inc. <br /> for disposal/recycling. The completed UST disposition tracking record and disposal certification <br /> are included in Attachment B. The Tank Closure Certification Form is also included in <br /> Attachment B. <br /> i <br /> t <br />
