MWAIr AM <br /> Working To Restore Nature <br /> "-;` Zn <br /> 1710 Main Street <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 MAY I a <br /> FAX (209) 838-3509 MaNTHEALTH <br /> May 6, 1993 <br /> -Ms Margaret Lagorio <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE Project Status Update Report, January through March 1993, Holt Brothers <br /> Tractor Company, 1541 W Charter Way, Stockton, California, Site Code 1988 <br /> Dear Ms Lagorio <br /> This letter report serves to update you on RESNA Industries, Inc (RESNA's) activities from <br /> January through March 1993 at the above referenced site (Figure 1) Recent activities have <br /> included monitoring of the six groundwater wells on-site, sampling for dissolved hydrocarbons <br /> and halogenated volatile organics from five monitoring wells, subjectively analyzing the <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon and halogenated volatile organic concentrations in groundwater beneath <br /> the site, and measuring the thickness of free product in well MWA <br /> GROUNDWATER SAMPLING <br /> RESNA personnel performed groundwater monitoring and sampling on March 9, 1993 Field <br /> work consisted of measuring depth to water (DTW) and subjectively analyzing the water from <br /> wells MW2 through MW6 (Figure 2) for the presence of sheen and floating product Water <br /> measurements in the wells ranged from 23 55 to 26 85 feet below the top of the well casings, <br /> an average water level rise of approximately 2 88 feet since the last monitoring event in July <br /> 1992 The groundwater monitoring data is summarized in Table 1 <br /> Groundwater elevation data indicates groundwater beneath the site flows southerly with a variant <br /> hydraulic gradient of 0 01 to 0 04 ft/ft or approximately 53 to 211 feet/mile A groundwater <br /> gradient map 1s included on Figure 2 <br /> PSUR493 FNL <br />
