28 June 2006
AGE-NC Project No. 06-1434
Page 2 of 2
• Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline and diesel (TPH-g and TPH-d,
respectively) in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified;
• Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes(BTEX),and volatile organic compounds
(VOCs) in accordance with EPA Method 8260B; and
• LUFT Metals Cadmium,Chromium,Zinc,Lead, andNickel in accordance with EPA Method
200.8.
The laboratory report (CTEL Project No. CT214-0606117), quality assurance/quality control
(QA/QC)reports,and chain of custody forms are included in Appendix A.Sampling equipment was
washed in an Alconox solution and rinsed twice with water prior to each sampling run to avoid
cross-contamination,and all soil probe borings were permanently sealed to prevent vertical migration
of potential contaminants. Soil borings were abandoned by backfilling with portland cement from
total depth to surface grade.
No analytes for petroleum hydrocarbons, solvents or VOCs were detected at or above laboratory
detection limits in the soil samples analyzed. LUFT metals Chromium, Nickel and Zinc were
detected at levels above the laboratory detection limits, but within the ranges considered to be
background levels common to the Stockton area.
The opportunity to provide this service is greatly appreciated.
