By copy of this letter, we are notifying the appropriate city <br /> and county planning and building departments of this change. <br /> Facilities were deleted from the list for one of the following reasons: <br /> 1. The facility is not required by the Department to have a hazardous <br /> waste permit (e.g. , the facility has closed or its operations do not <br /> involve the treatment, storage, or disposal of hazardous waste). <br /> • 2. The facility is required by the Department to have a hazardous waste <br /> facility permit, but does not dispose of hazardous waste or treat or <br /> store hazardous waste in surface impoundments, waste piles, or land <br /> treatment units. <br /> 3.
