The "top of
screen" is shown on the right at 13', and the DTW is shown on the left, below the top of screen
level but has 12.9 listed.
I recommend the new drawing move the DTW detail up to show it above the top of screen..
am I reading this wrong? did i miss something?
Mike Infurna
SJCEHD
(209) 468-3454
From: Kristene Tidwell [mailto:ktidwell@thesourcegroup.net]
Sent: Tuesday, December 14, 2010 10:51 AM
To: 'Amy Terrell'
Cc: 'Paul Horton'; 'Dave Provance'; 'Matt Sutton'; Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: Updated Well Construction Details - 1904 West Charter Way Stockton
Hi Amy-
Drilling activities including injection and monitoring well installation are occurring this week at 1904 West
Charter Way, Stockton. Currently, we have completed drilling and installing monitoring wells (EISB wells)
per proposed. However, observations of lithologic conditions in soil cores from the wells that we have
already installed indicate that well specification for injection wells need to be altered. Instead of installing
wells with a 20-foot screen interval, we will be installing 15-foot screen intervals for injection wells. Total
depth for wells will not change. The screen interval change is being implemented to avoid the injection
product from being preferentially injected into the vadose-zone instead of below the water table. Changes
to the injection well construction have been discussed with Mike Infurna of the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department. An updated well construction diagram for the three injection wells is
attached.
Please feel free to contact myself of Paul Horton with any questions.
Kristene Tidwell, P.G.
Project Geologist
The Source Group,Inc.
3451-C Vincent Road
12/14/2010
