Mr. Ken Price 5 - 3 July 2003
protect all designated beneficial uses of the water body, which includes municipal and domestic
supply, regardless of the likelihood of its future actual use.
FEASIBILITY STUDY
In our 21 January 2003 letter, we requested a Feasibility Study/Remedial Options Evaluation
Report (FS/RO) by 23 May 2003. In its comment letter, Geomatrix proposes to prepare the
FS/RO within three months of Board staff reconsideration of its comments. MSRM has had
ample opportunity to prepare a FS/RO, and it must be submitted by 8 August 2003.
SUMMARY
Stormwater that is stored on-site may be treated with carbon adsorption filters, sampled, and
applied on saplings at rates that do not exceed the water or nitrogen uptake demand of the trees
as conditioned above.
The January 2003 Groundwater Cleanup Criteria Table has been revised to illustrate a higher
analytical detection limit for dichlorodifluoromethane and to recognize that matrix interferences
may prevent a laboratory analysis from achieving a specified detection limit.
The FS/RO is now due by 8 August 2003. If you have any questions, you may contact me at
J1255-30.
TERRELL
Private Sites Cleanup Unit
Enclosure
cc : Mr. Michael Infuma, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Mr. Alan Prouty, J.R.
