(Geomatrix), is installing a groundwater monitoring well in the
City of Stockton right-of-way at 1937 Longdon Drive in Stockton, California, on behalf of
Miller Springs Remediation Management, Inc. (MSRM). As we discussed on April 23, 2003,
a well installation permit from San Joaquin County will be required for this work. MSRM has
received Revocable Permit Number 02-28W from the City of Stockton and Geomatrix has
obtained an encroachment permit(67760) for the proposed well. Copies of these permits, a
map showing the approximate location of the monitoring well, the work plan approved by
California Regional Water Quality Control Board, a payment of$89, and a well construction
diagram are attached. The well will be installed in aflush-mounted well box in the sidewalk
or in the landscaped area immediately adjacent to the sidewalk, depending on the location of
utilities. Geomatrix anticipates the monitoring well will be installed in June 2003.
Sincerely yours,
GEOMATRIX CONSULTANTS,INC.
William Aravanis, P.
