INTRODUCTION <br /> ' In accordance with a request from Mr. Mike Clark of Clark Well, Inc. (CWI),- Advanced <br /> GeoEn*onme.ntal, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Closure SumrnaryyReport (CSR) for the property <br /> located at 2024 East Charter Way in Stockton, California. The general location of the site,is depicted <br /> in Figure 1 -Location Map. A layout of the site is illust rated in.Figure 2.-:Site Plan. <br /> The CSR is prepare4 in accordance with San Joaquin,Cou ty Public Health Services - Environmental <br /> Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) guidelines'for investigation of underground storage-tank(UST) sites. <br /> .2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 2:1. SITE.LOCATION <br /> The facility of CWI is located in a flat commercial/industrial area in the central'paq of Stockton, <br /> California. The property, which is situated on the south east corner.of"B" Street and East Charter <br /> Way, is occupied by'a main operations building and several smaller utility. sheds. CWI operates a well <br /> drilling company on the property. <br /> 2.2. UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL - <br /> r" One 500-gallon gasoline UST and one 500-gallon diesel UST were removed from.the site by Falcon <br /> Energy Associates (FEA) on.2O March 1991. Water W Drk, Inc. collected one soil sample beneath <br /> each UST following the removal. The-samples were anal ed by a.State-certified laboratory for,total - <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline and diesel (TPH-g and TPH-d)-and for volatile <br /> aromatics.(benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylene: TE&X). <br />' TPH d was detected at 510 parts per million (ppm) in the sample collected beneath the diesel UST. <br /> The sample also contained aromatic hydrocarbons at lowe levels. Soil excavated to facilitate the tank <br /> r" rernoval was.placed back into the tank cavity. Analytical results of the soil samples are included in <br /> Table 1. . <br /> r <br /> 2.3.
