Therefore, we are requesting that ,the tank pit area be <br /> further investigated to determine the necessary remedial action <br /> for this site. <br /> 3 - .j. <br /> In the PAR, McLaren Environmental Engineering has outlined a <br /> proposed work plan to investigate the tank pit and remediate any <br /> excavated soil as well as the stockpiled 'soil. We request that <br /> the results of the tank pit investigation1be submitted to this <br /> Regional Board and the San Joatluin Local Health District (SJLHD) <br /> in an Addendum the PAR for review before remedial work is <br /> undertaken. We also request that the four monitoring wells be <br /> f sounded for water level measurements during the tank pit <br /> investigation to reevaluate the ground water gradient. <br /> Please have this investigative work completed and submitted to us <br /> f <br /> and the SJLHD by 15 April 1989.
