Cherokee Lane <br /> Lodi , CA 95241 <br /> MODIFICATIONS TO MONITORING PROGRAM, 16 SOUTH CHEROKEE LANE, LODI, SAN JOAQUIN <br /> COUNTY <br /> We received the proposal , dated 22 February 1993, from your consultant, <br /> Geological Audit Services, regarding modifications to the monitoring program <br /> proposed in the draft Cleanup and Abatement Order. A memorandum containing <br /> Staff comments on the proposal and a draft Monitoring and Reporting Program <br /> are attached. We sent a copy by fax machine, 5 March 1993, to you and your <br /> consultant to provide you adequate time for review and comment. We expect to <br /> issue the Cleanup and Abatement Order by Friday 12 March 1993. <br /> We do not object to reducing the number of wells which are monitored <br /> quarterly. However, as explained in the memo, we have recommended the <br /> monitoring program as shown in the table on page 1 of the draft Monitoring and <br /> Reporting Program. The recommended monitoring program involves quarterly <br /> monitoring of 7 wells and annual monitoring of the remaining wells. New wells <br /> will be monitored quarterly until enough data have been obtained to show that <br /> a reduction in the monitoring is warranted. <br /> Please respond in writing to the recommended monitoring program by 11 March <br /> 1993.
