(GeoAudit) has prepared this work plan for remediation
progress monitoring at 16 South Cherokee Lane in Lodi, California. This work plan is
prepared in response to a letter from Ms. Elizabeth Thayer of the Central Valley Regional
Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB), dated December 9, 1993.
2.0 BACKGROUND
History and background information concerning the site is documented in the Final
Remedial Plan (FRP) submitted to the CVRWQCB on July 30, 1993, and in
correspondence between GeoAudit and Ms. Elizabeth Thayer between August and
December of 1993.
3.0 SCOPE OF WORK
In accordance with a letter to the CVRWQCB dated December 28, 1993, GeoAudit
proposes to drill "remediation progress soil borings" on or about the following dates: April
1, June 1, September 1, and December 1, 1994 as well as March 1 and September 1, 1995.
3.1 Soil Boring Locations
A minimum of two soil borings will be drilled during each "progress"monitoring. The initial
progress monitoring will be centered near VW-4 soil borings will be drilled approximately
(5) feet northwest of VW-4 (between VW-4 and MW-4; see Figure 3 for well locations;
[proposed soil borings not shown on map]). If little or no contamination is detected in this
soil boring, a second soil boring will be drilled (10) feet south-southeast of VW-4. However,
if contamination is encountered, the second soil boring will be drilled approximately (3) feet
north of VW-4.
0_1,Nt AUM11 U. ,Ii 1
