(See Figure 2 for boring locations) . <br /> In July 1986, BC installed monitoring well 5 (MW-5) . <br /> Petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in the soil <br />' (concentrations up to 1,100 ppm TPH-G, 17 ppm Benzene, 36 ppm <br /> Toluene, and 97 ppm xylenes) and in the groundwater <br /> (concentration up to 11 ppm TPH-G, 0.12 ppm Benzene, 0 .1 ppm <br /> toluene, and 0. 28 ppm xylenes) . (See Figure 2).. <br />' In accordance with Cleanup and Abatement Order No. 90-702, <br /> issued by the CRWQCB in March 1990, BC performed quarterly <br /> sampling of monitoring wells 1 through 5, May 4, 1990 .
