� ` r <br /> QUARTERLY REPORT <br /> March 1996 <br /> Geweke Land Development & Marketing <br /> 16 South Cherokee Lane <br /> Lodi, California v <br /> 1.0.- INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK - -- -- - - y - --} <br /> At the request of Geweke Land Development &Marketing (GLDM), and in accordance with Cleanup <br /> and Abatement Order No 93-701,AcAwnced GeoEmironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this report <br /> of monitoring and remediation field activities performed at 16 South Cherokee Lane, Lodi, California <br /> during the first quarter of 1996 A vicinity map of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 - Vicinity Map <br /> A plan ofthe site is illustrated on'Figure 2 - Site Plan <br /> I4 In accordance with the Revised Monitoring and Reporting Program No 94-701, ground water and <br /> soil vapors are scheduled for monitoring on a periodic basis for microbiological activities The <br /> ' progress of remediation in soil is monitored on a quarterly basis The scope of work is to evaluate the <br /> field data and summarize the progress of in-situ bioremediation and monitoring-activities at the site <br />�r during the first quarter of 1996 <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 2 1 SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located at the northeast corner of South Cherokee Lane and East Oak Street in Lodi, <br /> California The property is currently occupied by,a'used car dealership and two portable structures <br /> used for administrative and financing purposes <br /> Prior to 1986, the property was used as a gasoline dispensing facility, several underground storage <br /> tanks,(USTs) were present on-stte In 1986, the USTs were removed and an unauthorized release of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons was reported ' <br /> r , <br /> _ 22 ASSESSMENT AND REMEDIATION ACTIVITIES <br /> Assessment aiid remediation activities of the subsurface release of hydrocarbons have taken place at r <br /> the site since,1987 Between 1987 and 1994, a total of 14 ground water monitoring wells, one ground <br /> water extraction well, 7 vadose zone wells and numerous soil borings were drilled, installed and <br /> sampled ' <br /> " . <br /> In 1993, Geological Audit Services, Inc (GeoAudit) completed the assessment activities A Problem <br /> Assessment Report (PAR), Final Remedial Plan (FRP) and subsequent addenda, were prepared by <br /> GeoAudit and submitted to the Central Valley Regional,Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) - <br /> - r ,t <br />
