r r <br /> r <br /> i Additional Site Assessment Work Plan - September 2001 <br />' GEWEKE LAND DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING <br /> r 16 South Cherokee Lane, Lodi, California <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION ` <br />' At the request of Mr Dale Gillespie of Geweke Land Development & Marketing (GLDM), <br /> Advanced GeoEnvirortmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this work plan for advancement of cone <br /> penetrometer testing(CPT) soil borings and installation of one ground water monitoring well at 16 ' <br /> South Cherokee Lane, Lodi, California (site) and the surrounding area to define the lateral and <br /> vertical extent of impacted ground water The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 A site <br /> plan is illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> Tlus work plan is prepared in accordance with Cleanup and Abatement (C&A) Order No 93-701 <br /> and in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) <br />' guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites <br /> This work plan provides a description of the scope of work and procedures for advancement of four - <br />' CPT soil borings, installation of one ground water monitoring well, and collection and analysis of <br /> soil and ground water samples <br /> I • - <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br />' In 1985,two 10,000-gallon,one 6,000-gallon and one 1,000-gallon underground storage tank(UST) <br /> were removed from the site No samples were collected from the tank excavation In October 1985, <br />' San Joaquin County required GLDM to conduct a site investigation of suspected leakage from the <br /> 1,000-gallon waste oil tank <br />' Between 1986 and 2001, thirty-two soil borings, seven vapor extraction wells, one ground water <br /> extraction well and fourteen ground water monitoring wells'were installea d on and near the site <br /> Ground water monitoring Was conducted at°the site by Kleinfelder in 1985, Brown and Caldwell <br /> from February 1986 to July 1990,PES Environmental Inc and Blaine Tech Services,Inc from May <br /> 1991 to September' 1991,Sun Tech Environmental Inc from December 1991 to July 1993,Geologic <br /> Audit Services, Inc (GeoAudit) from September 1993 to September 1994 and AGE from March <br />' 1995 to the present <br /> A Problem Assessment Report(PAR)was prepared by PES Environmental Inc and submitted to the <br /> CVRWQCB in July 1991 A Final Remediation Plan (FRP) was prepared by GeoAudit and <br /> submitted to the CVRWQCB in July 1993 - <br />' In December 1993, a low pressure blower was installed'and connected to the seven vapor wells and <br /> four monitoring wells to introduce an oxygen source (air) in preparation to mnoculate wells with <br />' hydrocarbon-consuming bacteria In August 1994, in-situ bioremediation began at the site by <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> f + r <br />
